Yiorgos started studying music in his early childhood. His first compositions were written at the age of 12. Since then he followed a course of intensive study of the classical guitar and music theory, which led to the completion of his studies at the National Conservatory of Athens and Morley college of London with a Postgraduate Diploma in classical guitar performance and many diplomas of theoretical studies and composition.

Listed as a solo performer, Yiorgos plays on stage classical guitar and charango -an stringed plucked instrument miniature of the medieval lute of the Andean region. He also uses soundscapes and video in a cinematic blend of sound and image that combines elements of minimalism and influences from the Greek tradition. |
